Extra Curriculars
Beyond the classroom, I’ve made it a priority to get involved in organizations that reflect my values of leadership, community, and connection. These experiences have strengthened my teamwork, event planning, and communication skills — while giving me opportunities to make a tangible difference on and off campus.
Alpha Delta Pi — Gamma Delta Chapter, University of Miami
As an active member of the Gamma Delta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, I’ve had the opportunity to build lifelong friendships while contributing to meaningful philanthropic initiatives. Our chapter’s national philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), an organization dedicated to supporting families with seriously ill or injured children by providing housing and care near hospitals.
Through Alpha Delta Pi, I’ve participated in and helped organize a variety of fundraisers, volunteer events, and awareness campaigns to benefit RMHC — including donation drives, community service days, and our annual “Pie a Pi” and “Diamond Dash” events. These experiences have taught me the value of teamwork, empathy, and service, while allowing me to directly support families in need and strengthen our chapter’s presence in the community.
Being part of Alpha Delta Pi has also given me opportunities for personal and professional growth — from leadership development workshops to campus involvement initiatives. It’s shown me how impactful it can be to combine community, purpose, and sisterhood, and it continues to inspire me to lead with compassion in everything I do.
Student Note Taker — Office of Disability Services, University of Miami
As a volunteer note taker, I provided detailed class notes to support students with disabilities, ensuring equal access to course materials and academic success. Through this role, I completed over 60 hours of community service during the Fall 2024 semester, strengthening my sense of responsibility, inclusivity, and attention to detail.
